My kids and I love to create things. We draw, paint, sew, crochet, do crafts, play with building blocks and just have a fun time doing it. We recently tried out Qixels 3D Maker and fell in love with it. The possibilities are endless and there is so much to build and create and it is done in such a fun and easy way!

One great thing is these pixels fuse together with water, and it makes the cleanup so easy. Other crafts like this require glue or a hot iron and that needs really close supervision with kids. It shows you where to put each piece and then you put water on it, snap it over and then do the next row until you have created this amazing 3D figures. There are a lot of different things you can create and it is a lot of fun.

My kids enjoy trying out new figures that they can create and just have a breeze. Cleanup is easy, the figures are cute and I find it brings their creative imagination out to play when creating one of these 3D creations. It comes with 600 beads and 83 support beads and the possibilities are endless on what they can create! It also comes with 6 templates for them to create.

This reminded me of perlers, not sure if you all are familiar with them, but they are little beads that you have to melt together with a hot iron. My kids LOVE them, but I am always terrified of them burning themselves. They end up creating and I am on standby with the iron to meld their creation together. This is amazing, because I can stick around and have fun, or possibly go off and get some chores done. No more worrying about them getting hurt. They simple out water on it and once it dries, their creation sticks together! It is a win/win for everyone!

There are lot of small pieces, as you can imagine, so it is recommended that kids 5 and over can use it. In saying that, I honestly believe that any child over the age of 5 would really enjoy having this as a gift under the tree this year. I might even go as far as to make this a awesome craft to bring out while sitting under the tree over the holidays. Great way to have fun together and celebrate this amazing time of year.
