This is a sponsored post. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Medical questions are always something that will come up no matter how big or small. Finding the helpful, accurate information we need, however, can be a challenge. And the ads on a lot of the websites are very distracting. Fortunately, I found a free app that has a great deal of medical information for practically any medical concern. Say you are about to have some kind of surgery, big or small, with this app you can research the procedure, possible complications and make a list of questions to ask your surgeon. After all, surgeons are very busy so going in prepared with a list of questions would be a huge time saver and help to ease your fears.

As a mom – it can be overwhelming when a kid is sick or injured. One of the best things about this app is that it helps to stay organized. All of my medical questions, advice, and information can be found in one place. So if I have questions to ask my doctor or even the kids’ doctor, I can sort different pieces of information into favorites. That way I always have the topics on-hand when it comes time for checkups or in-between visits due to illness or injury.

The Merck Manual Consumer App is extremely user-friendly and ad free. Merck has been a go-to source for updated medical information for medical professionals and consumers alike for over 100 years. The information is provided through medical professionals worldwide. Knowing that the information is accurate and updated is very comforting. With a goal to provide the most comprehensive medical information on a global scale by 2020 you can be assured that you are getting the most updated information available. Another feature I love about this app is the ease of sharing. There are so many apps that claim to be user-friendly and look like they have to option to easily share the information, but when you click on the share option nothing happens. I was so relieved when I was actually able to share the information I was looking at with my family so they could better understand everything too.

When you are dealing with a medical issue for yourself or a family member the last thing you want is a bunch of ads getting in the way. You want to really dig in and find the information that you need. Most free apps are so distracting that they are almost impossible to use. The Merck Manual Consumer app truly was a godsend for me and my family. You can save information or bookmark it for later. There are diagrams and videos you can watch to help you understand.

The App is very easy to download. Since it has so much information, it does take a few minutes to download completely. But it is well worth it to have all of that medical information at your figure tips.
