Now your kids can become creative with their own email messages! We all know that technology is changing everyday, and my young kids keep up with the never-ending changes more than I do!
But this time I have something I can share with them that they didn’t know about and it’s called : The Maily App!
This amazing, kid-friendly app allows your children to create email messages that we parents can monitor. The Maily free app will provide your children with age appropriate writing tools that they’ll need to compose a visual email message. Tools likes writing pencils, paint brushes, photos, backgrounds, and stamps! Its a great way for your kids to express how they feel through their email to their friends and family!
Once they have logged into the app, your children will use a pop-up menu to direct them to the various tools.
Another great thing about Maily is that approved contacts can reply using kid-friendly themes from Maily’s web-based inbox. Children using Maily can select who they want to email by tapping on the image of that person’s face. Once they have selected whom they wish to send an email too, the can create their digital savvy email with ease!
When your child is ready to reply back, Maily informs you to login to your dashboard and form a reply using its editor. Just pick from one of its pre-selected responses and add your own message.
Now keep in mind that the app currently supports only one child per device and no matter what, parents are in control as to whom their children are communicating with. While the Maily app can be downloaded for free, the creators say that in the future they may introduce a store where parents can buy new tools for their kids such as video, sound, new brushes, or a second account or selective advertising.
Overall, I believe that Maily is an excellent concept for an app, and I love how easy it is for our children to use. The kids can communicate with their friends and family in a safe, creative way. Hey, maybe the creators will make an older version for us parents…lol!!
