This past weekend I stayed at Embassy Suites, Downtown Portland. The hotel is located in the heart of Downtown Portland. City Fair and the Rose Festival was taking place and I couldn’t have been more perfectly located. The parade wrapped around the hotel and the fair was only a couple blocks away. It is also only a couple blocks from the Saturday Market, is surrounded by food trucks, and other attractions and ammenties.
The check-in process was speedy and pleasant. They offer valet or self parking and the valet staff was efficient and friendly. We enjoyed a spacious suite with a living area and separate bedroom. Perfect when traveling with family.
They offer a Family Fun Package which includes breakfast for four, internet access, and late checkout.
Embassy Suites makes your stay extra affordable and easy with their complementary breakfast they offer. They have a great selection so there will be something to please even the pickiest eater in your family, including a made to order omelet bar. I was pleasantly surprised that their coffee was super delicious after having some of my worst coffee experiences at hotels. This mommy needs her morning fuel and prefers that it tastes good!
They also offer a free evening reception that is family friendly. They include free drinks and snacks and provide non-alcoholic beverages for the little ones.
I really appreciate how Embassy Suites has worked really hard to accommodate families, something most hotels don’t even try doing. It’s a great feeling knowing that when you take your family on vacation there, everyone will be able to enjoy themselves and be taken care of.
