Dubai, one of the best holiday destinations for families

Once again we are coming to the end of another year and many are looking forward to the year-end long school holidays. For those families who can afford, they will be planning a family holiday abroad. Whether they are traveling as a family, as couples, newly married couples, or even as singles, there are many beautiful places to choose from.

These days, tourists are making a beeline to the United Arab Emirates for their holidays, or even for a honeymoon. In recent years, one of the most popular places to visit for family holidays or get away from the cities in the United Arab Emirates. Some of their iconic landmark tourist attractions are the towering skyscraper Burj Khalifa in Dubai and the modern Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi.

Dubai is a great place for a family vacation. Holidaymakers can enjoy both the modern and the traditional in Dubai. If you plan your holiday well ahead of time, you will be able to book a  cheap flight to Dubai. Dubai caters to everyone in the family from the youngest to the oldest. There are beautiful skyscrapers, shopping in the largest shopping mall, enjoying the local food, and strolling along sandy shores. Visitors too will get to experience a night spent in the desert, watching the starry desert night sky. For the adventurous, there are the jagged peaks of the Hajar Mountains for hikers.

For those who are not afraid of height, you can take a panoramic view across Dubai from the observation deck of the highest skyscraper, Burj Khalifa. Another iconic landmark to visit is the modern mosque, The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. You can see the contemporary design and ancient craftsmanship, blending both modern and ancient styles of Islamic architecture. The interior of the mosque is furnished with gold, mosaic tiles, glass, and marble.

There are many top rated and luxurious hotels in Dubai and in Abu Dhabi to cater to the travelers’ preferences. Those who are interested in the history of the Arab world will enjoy visiting the Sharjah Arts Museum. Another interesting place to visit is The Bastakia quarter of Dubai which is the last remaining fragment of old Dubai. Depending on the length of your stay, there are still many other places of attraction to see.
