CVS Minute Clinic is there for you and your family

I recently used the CVS Minute Clinic, and it was a fast visit, and I was able to get the help I needed.  I have allergies bad, so the Minute Clinic was able to give me something to use, until my next doctor’s appointment, when I can discuss this Spring Issue with my Doctor.

Even when my daughter, 18 year old, Sarah, was ill; we took her to the Minute Clinic.  They told us what to give her, so that she would get better.

The CVS Minute Clinic offers Camp Physicals, help for allergies, Pink eye solutions, and a lot more.  Just go to the Minute Clinic page, and look for a clinic near you.

The CVS Minute Clinic is:

  • Open 7 days a week
  • No appointment necessary
  • Most insurance accepted

campWhether you need a physical for Camp, Sports or any Physical, here’s what you need to know:

What are common seasonal allergy symptoms?

For allergy sufferers, symptoms can range from annoying to lifestyle altering.
They include:

  • Coughing
  • Dark under-eye circles
  • Headaches
  • Itchy nose, eyes, throat and ears
  • Nasal congestion
  • Postnasal drip
  • Red, watery eyes
  • Runny nose
  • Sinus pressure
  • Sneezing

An allergic reaction usually triggers symptoms in the following areas: nose, lungs, throat, sinuses, ears, lining of the stomach or on the skin. In some cases, allergies can also trigger symptoms of asthma. In the most serious instances, a life-threatening reaction called anaphylaxis can occur.

What happens during a visit at MinuteClinic®?

Your nurse practitioner or physician assistant will ask you about the symptoms you’re experiencing. He or she will also take your temperature; check your ears, nose and throat; see if you have swollen glands and listen to your breathing.
