4 Reasons New Moms Should Hire a Professional Cleaning Service

7

There are only a few experiences as precious and unique as giving birth for the first time. The memory of hearing your baby cry and coo for the first time, watching its little arms move as if calling out to hold you is something you will cherish forever. But apart from being rewarding, it can also be a challenging time in a woman’s life.

One of the biggest challenges is trying to balance being a mother with your private and professional life. Having a baby will likely mean less time to follow the routine you’re used to. This also includes simple housekeeping chores such as washing the dishes, vacuuming and dusting. In fact, balancing all of those chores with taking care of your child will be nearly impossible in the first couple of months.

This is the reason why many new moms ask their family members to help them around the house, so they can dedicate more time to the new born. But have you ever considered hiring a cleaning service like No More Chores instead?

Having a professional maid take care of your home is often regarded as an upper class thing, but that is not necessarily true. Any family could benefit from hiring a cleaning service, and thanks to the internet, there are a lot of great, professional companies out there that offer highly competitive prices. In this article, we’ll give you the most compelling reasons to hire a cleaning service if you’re a new mom.

You’ll Have More Time to Bond

It is extremely important for the newborn baby to bond with the mother in the first couple of weeks and months after birth. According to Parenting, research has shown that a strong bond between a mother and the child can help with the baby’s immunity, fight diseases and improve IQ early on. Having a professional cleaning service will allow you to spend more time with your precious bundle of joy and help create that special connection.

You’ll Have Less to Worry About

Multitasking is not for everyone and trying to be both a mother and a housekeeper is bound to affect your mood. Coincidentally, babies are amazing at picking up the emotions and mood of their mothers. Stressing out over menial chores in front of the baby can, therefore, do a lot of harm. That is why you should have a professional deal with the mess, while you dedicate your time to your baby.

Your Body is Still Fragile

Giving birth may be a lot of joy, but it is also physically challenging, intensive experience that is bound to take a toll on your body. Mothers need to take their time to heal properly or face long-term medical issues, as advised by WebMD. Women are not advised to pick up anything heavier than the baby and have to avoid physically demanding activities, including cleaning. That is why it’s necessary to get some help with the cleaning at least six months after childbirth, from a medical perspective.

This Can Only Be a Short-Term Solution

Hiring a cleaning service does not mean you have to give up housekeeping for good, just until you’ve completely healed and during the time your child will demand the most attention. When you get back on your feet, you can determine whether you still need professional help or if you want to start balancing the duties yourself.

Hiring a cleaning service might also give you some valuable insight into professional cleaning practices. In other words, you might learn a thing or two.

Very well put! As a mom of 5 (just a little experience I would say), I’m a firm believer in hiring extra help. I’ve done so myself for at least 3 months after every birth, it made all the difference in having a smooth recovery.

This is great! Hiring professional cleaning services makes things so much easier! If you maintain a habit is dusting and swiping, the cost of hiring house cleaning is much less! Leave the heavy scrubs for the pros, but maintain the small cleaning:}

I love that you pointed out that after childbirth, your body is weakened, so hiring a professional cleaning service can help you rest. My friend just had a baby, but because she lives so far away, I’m not able to help her clean. I’ll share this article with her, so she can see the benefits of hiring a professional cleaning service.

Thank you for pointing out that your body is still fragile after having a baby so hiring a cleaning service can help you recover. My sister is about to have a baby and I think she should try and find the right cleaning service. Hopefully, she can find one that she loves.
