Unwind and uncork with Vinturi

0

Nothing is better than a bottle of wine, some cheese, and a warm fire on a winters night. I love to relax to a nice glass of Zinfandel or Bordeaux. The winter is perfect time to sit by the fire and cozy up to a good book or watch a great Christmas movie. After all we don’t get to do this all year so got to take advantage of this golden opportunity. So grab a log, a couple of glasses, and a great bottle of wine and enjoy this much needed relaxation.

The one problem with wine for me is always how to uncork the bottle. As I grow older the days of my youthful strength is long gone. I have tried more wine bottle openers than you can imagine. Some work great yet others fall short on what I would call useful. Most have been either too hard for me to pull the cork or the cork was shredded leaving unsightly cork crumbles floating in your glass.

My go to bottle opener is the Vinturi Vertical Wine Opener by Williams-Sonoma. I love that they have a build in foil cutter and simple smooth operation. Its comfortable in my hand and seems to never stick to a cork making saving the cork easy. The best part is that they included a spare screw in the box just in case something was to happen. I haven’t had any problems with mine and it get used for all the book club meetings at my home. Vinturi is by far one of the best wine openers that market has to offer.
