I am always on the look for something fun to do with the kids. I don’t like to just sit my children in front of a television, I want to have them do something that takes creativity. It seems many children nowadays are content just gazing mindlessly into a videogame or show on the television. I cannot even tell you how much time I spend searching for something the family can do together that is fun. Don’t get me wrong board games are great but after you play them countless times they tend to lack luster.
Many bored games aren’t made to incorporate the youngest in the household. My toddler is smart however, he still lacks the concept of board games more advanced than “Candyland”. I recently came across something that the whole family can enjoy. It’s a stop motion animation kit called OGOBILD + Animate. My children love it, and it helps to foster more creativity than even I could imagine.
With OGOBILD I had the kids writing their own scripts and moving their created monstrosity across the set. It didn’t take long and my kids where lost in their own universe. I found myself enjoying the story my children created with “Evil Dr.Chopper” and the protagonist “Mr.Jet Pants”. There are tons of pieces so you can get right in the action with the kids. I Love how OGOBULD has brought the magic of Hollywood into the home and it couldn’t have come sooner.
