Why You Should Surprise Someone with a New Gym Membership for The Holidays

1

A lot of people would love to have a gym membership, but will not spend the money to purchase one. There are a million excuses why someone you care about will not spend the money on a gym membership for themselves so giving it as a gift is a thoughtful way to say “I love you enough for you to be healthy”. With fantastic gyms like Chuze Fitness out there, a gym membership is the perfect gift.

This is a great, thoughtful gift that will eliminate most of the excuses the people you care about use to avoid exercise and getting in shape. If you pay for the gym membership and give it as a gift they are almost obligated to use it.

It’s All About Presentation

If you really want to make a great impression, while also serving up a unique presentation, get a pair of sneakers in the person’s size and tuck the gym membership information inside one of the sneakers. You can also do this with a running suit or work out gear.

By presenting the gym membership this way you are giving two gifts and no excuses. The recipient will not only be able to go to the gym but they will have the clothes to wear as well!

Enclose a note with the gift explaining your motivation. A nice note that explains that you wish them good health for the year is a nice addition to the gift and can help you alleviate any concerns about any insult over the gift; writing up a note and including it with the membership papers allows you to also take a minute to express how you feel.

A Gift That Keeps Giving

Sure, there are other gifts you can give for Christmas, but a gym membership is the gift that keeps on giving throughout the year. Every time they use their gym membership they will think of you. Moreover, unlike other gifts that will soon be forgotten or wind up in the back of a drawer, a gym membership is something that will actually get used (we hope).

It’s The Gift of Good Health

When you wish someone health and happiness for the New Year, handing them a gym membership that is already paid for quite literally puts your money where your mouth is, so to speak. In essence, you are giving a year of good health!

It is a lovely gesture, whether you buy a month-long gym membership or even a year-long membership.

I would love to receive a gym membership as a gift! And the presentation idea is fantastic. When you have the proper clothing and shoes, it makes it much easier to work out. Great ideas!
