While I know some children have already gone back to school in some states, our kids do not start until after Labor Day. I guess that is a positive in New York State, although we go until the end of June. If you haven’t heard of the Chuze app yet you are going to want to look into it for your food shopping needs this school year.
What I love most about the Chuze app is that I can scan the barcodes of items in my house and add to my shopping list. This is especially convenient when making my grocery list OR so I don’t forget that I need that item the next time I go to the store.
Scanning the barcode is so easy using your Chuze app. You just hover your phone over the barcode by clicking the barcode icon within the app itself. When you do this it will allow you to add it to your list. Sometimes it will tell you which aisle it is in. If it doesn’t give you the aisle you can always add it when you go to the store. If you already know the aisle you can add it also.
Once you have the item added to your list if it is on sale or has a coupon in the Chuze app it will show your savings at the bottom of your screen. I like this too because it allows me to keep track of my savings as I add the items that have a coupon to use.
Another added benefit is that on the Chuze app you can put if your item is recurring or just for this one shopping trip. This is helpful to me with peanut butter, bread, milk, cereal and yogurts just to name a few of the items we purchase on a daily basis. The app does look like my store is P&C and it shows the correct address also.
When you are all done at the grocery store you can then click the little shopping cart icon that is in the lower right-hand corner. I just thought this was so cool, (I know I get excited about the little things). Once you have done that this screen appears and tells you how to finish your shopping trip.
With the Chuze app, I get to have coupons I would otherwise not be able to get since many of the coupon sites seem to have the same coupons. This has always been very frustrating to me. Now with the Chuze app, you’ll be glad to know that you can find high-valued coupons that otherwise might not be available to you anywhere else.
