Peppy Pals: featuring five animal characters: the horse, the dog, the rabbit, the owl and the cat.

A question I commonly get is “How do I teach my kid how to deal with emotions?” I get it quite often and it’s not an easy one to answer. Emotional intelligence has often been overlooked by many parents. I see it often in the store when children meltdown over not getting that toy or candy they had their eye on. Emotional intelligence is more perceiving emotions, using emotions, understanding emotions. It’s also how good you are capable of managing those emotions.

Right now you can hop on over to the app store and buy both games for $5,99 and save 30 through LaDonna!

Unlike most storybook apps, Peppy Pals has no text or narration. It uses graphics and animations to tell the stories. The visual clues are clear enough that toddlers can understand them on their own. Peppy Pals starts by showing you a map marked with several locations. Tapping on these locations will take you to activities featuring four animal characters: the horse, the dog, the rabbit, and the owl. As you play with each animal, you will learn what each animal likes and dislikes. For example, the rabbit is scared of the toy Jack-in-the-box. You will have access to the same items and toys as you play with all the animals, so juniors can learn why giving a book to the owl would have a different result compared to giving it to the dog.

Peppy Pals is a great storytelling app that helps kids develop emotional intelligence. This coupled with the Peppy Parenting Guide they offer is a life saver. They have one of the leading emotional intelligence psychologists, Bodil Wennberg to help guide you as a parent on child emotional development. Had I had resources like this with my first child I could have avoided a few tantrums and mishaps. Check out what Peppy Pals has to offer, I enjoyed every minute I spent with my toddler while playing with this wonderful app.
