A homecare company operating in communities across the Fylde coast has opened its first high street office in Lytham.

Caring Hands Homecare expects the Clifton Street office to become an advice hub for customers and their families.

A recruitment drive for carers has begun to help the team meet the strong demand for care services in the area. Careers at Caring Hands Homecare offer a superb opportunity for those looking to work in a professional environment, and to have an impact in their local communities.

The launch was attended by the Mayor and Mayoress of Fylde, Cllr Heather Speak and Mrs Jen Robinson, along with forty other supporters of Caring Hands Homecare.

Linda Beddows MBE was invited to cut the ribbon and officially launch the office. Linda’s father was cared for by Caring Hands Homecare in the last 14 months of his life.

At the event, Linda said: “I get emotional when I think about the care my father received from the team at Caring Hands Homecare. You are all so dedicated and I’m delighted to have been asked to launch your Lytham office.

“I hope you can reach out to as many people as possible and support families who are struggling to cope, just as you did for my family when my father needed caring for. I’m sure you’ll make a huge success of this office.”

Lisa Reilly, care manager at Caring Hands Homecare, said: “We are incredibly excited to have a high street presence in Lytham. We already do great work in the town, and it’s fantastic that our teams in the community now have this base where they can come together.

“Not only that, but our lovely customers can pop in whenever they like to chat to us about our services, or just to have a brew. We have big ambitions at Caring Hands Homecare and we are very keen to take our special approach to care to as many people in need as possible.”
