Classic Eyelash Extensions vs Volume Eyelash Extensions

Are you tired of gluing those fake eyelashes that come off during those times when you need them most? No need to bother gluing them back on or ever again because now, eyelash extensions are in, fake eyelashes are out. Unlike fake eyelashes, which are joined together in a strip, eyelash extensions are more versatile and give a more natural look than what you get from fake eyelashes. And to top that, eyelash extensions can last as long as eight weeks if taken cared of well enough.

You can choose from two types of eyelash extensions – the classic eyelash extensions and volume eyelash extensions. These two eyelash extension types differ in the diameter of the extensions used. The typical classic eyelash extensions measure between 0.10 to 0.15 mm, while the volume eyelash extensions are at 0.03mm to 0.07mm. Rayleigh Eyelash Extensions offer these two modern ways of creating thicker and more natural eyelashes by attaching eyelash extensions, which can stay on your lids for quite a longer period than fake eyelashes do.

In Classic eyelash extensions, one extension is attached to a single natural eyelash to achieve natural and realistic eyelashes. It is also called one to one or 1:1. Classic eyelash extensions are great for customers who have thick eyelashes but want them longer. If you find your natural lashes lacking, Classic eyelash extensions can do the trick of making your eyelashes look stunning but still achieve that natural look.

The volume eyelash extension uses thinner and lighter extensions, which creates a fuller and fluffier look. By using thinner and lighter extensions, you apply more extensions to a single lash.

Volume eyelash extension is also called Russian Volume. The eyelash extensions used in the volume method are knowingly thinner than those used in the classic extensions.

In Volume eyelash extensions, multiple eyelashes that are lighter and thinner are attached to a single natural eyelash. The natural eyelash is isolated from other natural eyelashes by applying 2 to 3 very light and thin eyelash extensions. When two eyelash extensions are added to one natural eyelash, the method is called 2D eyelash extension. If three eyelash extensions are applied to a single natural eyelash, then it is called a 3D eyelash extension.

Volume lashes seem to have a stronger bond since two or three eyelash extensions will wrap around the natural eyelash. Volume lashes seem to last longer between fills.

Volume eyelash extensions are preferred by clients who do not have a lot of lashes, have sparse lashes, and bald spots. The volume method is also perfect for customers who want to attain a fuller and dramatic look without having to use fake eyelashes, which do not look anywhere near natural and can be used for such a short time only.

A group of volume eyelash extensions is called a volume fan. A 3D volume fan weighs lighter than a single classic extension. Less glue is used for the volume eyelash extension method, so your eyes will not have the heavy feeling of adding more weight to your eyes. Waterproof lash extensions will stay until the point that you decide to take them off. Lash extensions will add fullness to your natural lashes and won’t damage them. There are many types of lash looks for every eye shape, but you have to choose the best fit for you, which will emphasize the uniqueness of the eyes. Brands like Lilac St., Lash Perfect, Novalash will help you with their large assortment of extensions.

Eyelash extensions are not meant to stay on forever, whatever type they are. It is natural to shed 3 to 5 lashes per day, not considering if these have attached extensions or not. But suffice to say that, whatever method is used, a fill has to be done every 2 to 3 weeks.

It is probably due to a clients’ observations, or the fact that better techniques have emerged, causing classic eyelash extensions to have taken a backseat these days. More customers complained about lash fallout with classic eyelash extension techniques compared to the volume eyelash extension method.

Classic eyelash extensions have a good bond as each lash is carefully attached to a natural eyelash and held for 2 seconds to secure it in place. Classic lashes have a great bond yet often pop off from eye rubbing. Volume eyelash extensions, on the other hand, are observed to bond stronger. A 3D volume fan will wrap around a natural eyelash creating a stronger bond. Clients who applied the volume eyelash extension are happier because it takes longer to have their lashes filled again.

Classic and volume eyelash extensions give benefits to people who want to enhance the beauty of their eyes with full and thicker lashes. If you want to know which method will work best for your lashes, Rayleigh Eye Extensions have eyelash experts who can better explain the best techniques for your lashes and give you your money’s worth.

I’m doing my research on optometrist reports on the side effects of eyelash extensions. Allergies and irritations may be the two most often consequences, both are mentioned in my paper assignment pimion.com on Dermatology >> at Bernard Lievegoed University.
