What I like most about this thermometer is that the batteries are replaceable. It takes 2x AAA batteries. Other items, like my electric toothbrush, have batteries that cannot be replaced, so you have to throw away the entire device rather than just replace the batteries.
I like that the Mobi Wall Mate has a photocell sensor to automatically turn the nightlight off and on. The fact that it was honored with the National Parenting Center’s Seal of Approval award hopefully means that it’s a safe product to be used around children.
