We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Garden Inn on December 13, 2014.
The staff was wonderful, the room was gorgeous. We had the view of the parking lot, but could see our car perfectly. Joe, my husband, loved the desk in the room. We also had a smoking room, which is what we requested. You can see the room is fabulous. There is also a fridge and Keurig maker in each room. You do have the choice of either a King or 2 full beds. I believe, because we were in the smoking rooms, we go the two full. Which was fine with us.
Maria, and her husband Chris, met us at the hotel. I checked in, and waited for her in the lobby, which is absolutely gorgeous. There was such a beautiful display for the Holidays in the lobby, as well. We stayed in the Canonsburg, Pennsylvania location because it was halfway between Maria and myself.
The pool and spa were magnificent. Joe wanted to get in the spa, but it was kind of late, and there were some kids in there, so we skipped that part of the trip. I can’t swim, but in the morning I went down to the heated indoor pool, and it was the perfect temperature.
There are conference rooms here, and would be perfect for any meeting you have to hold, or party you want to have in the ballroom.
There are Coke and Ice Machines on every floor, and a pantry by the check in counter. You can get so many great things in the pantry. Joe had a headache, and he went down and got some Ibuprofen, which they did have. So if you forget something so simple as Tylenol, they’ve got you covered.
This was Our Holiday Away! No parenting for us. Jacob, our 3 year old, stayed with grandma and pappy.
We had a wonderful time. Down to the chair in the room that was so comfortable you didn’t want to get out of it.
