I love adorning my table with beautiful things. Even more than that, I am passionate about handcrafted items. Emerson Creek Pottery helps me combine both of these passions with their magnificent hand painted ceramic pottery.

When an item is handcrafted, not only does it take on a unique personality but it is also so much more perfect. Each piece is an individual with its needs attended to. Each one is a masterpiece.

“Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, Emerson Creek Pottery artisans are continuing the American tradition of handmade ceramic pottery making in a contemporary way.”

Emerson Creek Pottery is more than just a hand painted piece. It is the continuation of a tradition of American pottery. They have been creating their beautiful works for over 30 years. It is as American as apple pie! Better yet, if you want true Americana, you can serve your apple pie in Emerson Creek Pottery’s beautiful unglazed ceramic bakeware.

Emerson Creek Pottery has both beautiful hand painted patterns, such as the lavender and the Tuscan olive designs that I love, and a unique array of styles. One of my favorites is the berry colander. It works as a colander to rinse your berries, and takes you straight to the table with the included coaster.

Pair that with a fresh loaf cake, cut in the cracker basket, along with a piping hot cup of tea served with one of their tea sets, and you have yourself a beautiful spread for afternoon entertaining.
