A nicely mad bed really makes a bedroom look tidy and clean. You could have everything else picked up, but if the bed is a mess then the whole room looks that way. You can tell a child until you’re blue in the face to make their bed, but most likely they will just throw the top cover on and hope that it passes. I have 4 children and honestly I’ve given up on trying to get them to make their bed. Even if they do try I normally have to go back in after them to really get it looking nice.
I came across the Zipit bedding and almost cried. I could hear the angels singing. Ok, It may not have been as dramatic as all that. But I was super happy. The Zipit is a bedding set that acts kinda like a sleeping bag. You have the sheet the fits normally to your bed. Then you have the comforter that goes on top. The difference between the Zipit bedding and normal bedding is the Zipit bedding literally zips to the sheets. Making a sleeping bag effect but also making it so much easier for your child to make their bed.
I was surprised by how easy it really was to put on the bed. just put the sheet on then zip the comforter on. Thats it. The comforter does zip all the way off for easy cleaning. It also comes with a pillow case that matches the set. One of the neat things about the comforter is it’s reversible. Making it a two for one deal. The comforter is pretty heavy. Not overly so but enough to keep you nice and warm. With it all zipped up you never have to worry about losing your blanket in the middle of the night. The sheet also has a little zip pocket perfect for storing phones, tablets or “gasp” a good book. I kinda wish they came in a king size.
I got one of the glow in the dark sets for my 2 year old. He truly loves looking at his bedding glow. A bonus is he loves snuggling into bed now. I mean who doesn’t like to sink into a nicely made bed at the end of the day!
