Little Tikes 4-in-1 Trike Deluxe Edition

I’ve said it many times before but I love versatile products, especially when it comes to those geared toward children. If you’re a parent you already know how expensive it is to raise a child but if you’re like me, you try to get more bang for your buck. I’m a true bargain hunter by nature but I also want good quality products that last.

This is one of many reasons why I love Little Tikes toys. Their prices are very reasonable yet stand the test of time— take for instance the Little Tikes toys my young adult kids played with years ago. Believe it or not they’re still all in one piece. That says a lot considering my kids are never easy on anything. haha!

Today’s toys created by Little Tikes are just as good, if not better including their new 4-in-1 Trike Deluxe Edition. This awesome product is a tricycle that adjusts to 4 different positions so it grows with your child at different stages of growth and development.

Talk about cool, the 4-in-1 Trike (for age 9+ months) starts out as a stroller with detachable foot rests and an adjustable, detachable handle that parents can use to steer the trike. It also comes with a 5-point harness and shade canopy that can be adjusted to any angle to block out the harmful rays of the sun. 

For stage 2, a push trike that allows your child (age 12+ months) to learn how to pedal. For this stage you would continue the use of the parent handle to help control the bike. Self steering is not possible for the child at this stage.

Stage 3 is perfect for children ages 18 months and up. This is the development stage where you would remove the waist bar so your child can now steer all on their own, yet you still have control for those “just in case” moments.

And finally stage 4 allows full independence for ages 36+ months. At this stage the trike looks more like a classic tricycle. The parent handle is removed, as well as the canopy so your child has the freedom to steer, and pedal all by themselves. Of course adult supervision is still advised.

The 4-in-1 Trike is made of a durable medal and plastic construction with three solid rubber tires. Plus, an extra-large storage bucket on the back that can be dumped during active play. There is also a hanging zippered bag with 2 separate compartments where parents can store their keys, a cellphone, sippy cup or other small essentials during walks. And a small cup holder for your little one located just behind the seat. For your convenience, a beverage holder located on the parent handle is perfect for bottled water.

This awesome tricycle is available in 2 attractive colors; Neon Blue and Neon Pink. Each trike holds children up to 50 pounds and measures 48″ L x 19.5″ W x 38″ H.

What’s not to love about this 4-stage tricycle? Aside from all of the wonderful points I mentioned above, one feature I love most is that this trike comes with 2 removable foot rests. One thing I hated about my kids’ old school tricycles is that their feet were always getting caught up in the spinning pedals but with the Little Tikes 4-in-1 Trike, they can place their feet on the foot rests and not be bothered or injured. Gotta love that!
