I, first, have to say that “I LOVE my ratchet salad spinner” from Kuhn Rikon. It dries the lettuce so fast. I can’t believe I’ve never bought one of these before. My husband loves his salads. Especially since his heart attack, in November. So the Ratchet Salad Spinner was a great addition to our kitchen. He loves how the lettuce is “no longer soggy” when he eats his salad. That’s right, the Ratchet Salad Spinner dries the lettuce almost completely. Not even leaving enough water to make it soggy.
The Ratchet Salad Spinner, when lid is off, doubles as a strainer & also serving bowl. This takes care of 3 products at once. And, when storing, can be put all together, taking up less space.
Instructions for use:
- Add salad in colander and rinse thoroughly.
- Put colander into bowl.
- Put lid onto bowl.
- Move ratchet back and forth.
- When done, press brakes by pressing both buttons simultaneously.
- Lift-off lid.
- Lift colander out of bowl.
- Pour salad into bowl.
