How Eastern Countries Are Adopting Western Fashion Trends

3

For the past decade fashion and clothing trends have been more and more influenced by Western fashion. While people from all around the world take fashion and vloneclothing.net cues from each other, there has recently been a large-scale shift in how eastern countries go about adopting western fashion trends.

While many people who enjoy fashion would argue that this is beneficial to cultural diversity, as it may encourage creativity and broaden horizons, others disagree.

They argue that such a shift shows signs of cultural imperialism, where wealthy nations exploit less developed ones for their own gain; rather than allowing those countries to develop their own identities on their own terms.

For example: Japan had its kimono since at least 200 BC (estimated). However Japan only began to adapt European clothing styles in the late 19th century, during a period of post-industrial revolution when Western countries had been developing for centuries.

While it may be argued that they adopted these new fashions to keep up with other developed nations who were then copying Japanese fashion and aesthetics (such as Geishas), it is still a prime example of how a country’s culture becomes “westernized” under imperialistic pressures.

In contrast: Korea hasn’t adapted European clothing styles at all, and continues to develop its own unique style. While it has become more well-known globally, none of that can be attributed to western imperialism.

It should also be noted that eastern countries are not the only ones who adopt western trends – this goes both ways.

For example: The Japanese company Uniqlo has been conquering the fashion world with a style all its own – simple, comfortable and stylish clothes based around solid colors and neutral tones. Uniqlo is so popular that it can be found in many western countries as well as Japan, where it stretches from top-quality tech-wear to basic necessities such as underwear.

This is one of many examples where eastern production has influenced western trends.

As for what the future holds? Only time will tell!

You are right, but often it is even from the love of sports. For example, on the site http://search.danawa.com I have found many great options from the NBA that can emphasize my athletic image.

Yes, you are right, more and more cultures want to take this or that fashion trend. Now everyone has their own followers and idols that they follow via Instagram or something like that. I even noticed changes in makeup or manicure. Now there are more and more experiments, and sites such as https://www.snsnails.com/ provide all the necessary solutions for this.
