The purifier works really well. There are three fan speeds, with the top speed being perfect for me. The slow setting produces a really soft blow, which is near to impossible to hear at times. At night I can hear it’s soft hum but if there is anything else going on, I hear nothing at all. When set to medium or high, the buzzing isn’t really noticeable. The higher the setting the more air will blow out the front. It can become a little chilly at night, so make sure to turn it down at night.
The Febreze scent cartridges last for 30-days with minimal usage. You can buy cartridges in different scents. The scent is pretty light. But just like the fan, the scent has settings. If you’re one who only likes a soft scent you can turn it way down. If you’re like me you can set it to high. However, just like with anything if you have it set to high all the time, the scent will run out faster. Something fun I’ve learned is you can get a car air freshener and use that in the front of the Purifier for a stronger scent. I really like this option because the light air/breeze that comes out the front of the Febreze really helps get the scents around the room.
The Ferbreze Tower HEPA-Type Air Purifier is meant to be placed on the floor. The instructions says that for best performance, it should have about 3 feet of clearance all around. That means it is designed for use in larger rooms. The Febreze Tower Air Purifier works very well as both an air purifier and a fan. The force of the fan is fine and helps to circulate the air in the room. The filters and the scent packages are easy to install. I have the Tower in my room and I love the fresh crisp feeling I get when I have it turned on. It has gotten rid of the smell of my husbands dirty work socks, which I detest. I have also woken up with less allergies from my cat who insists on sleeping with us at night.
