Spring is well underway, Summer is almost here, and it’s time to dress those feet accordingly! Call  me lazy, but one thing I make sure of in the summer months: I hardly have any socks to wash!

Yep, toddler socks have a way of getting lost, are no fun to organize, and in the summer, sockless feet with sandals are my go-to option.

See Kai Run has an adorable and unique selection of sandals and other summer shoes for boys and girls.

“In 2004, a Seattle mom was on a quest to find a shoe that was best in health and design for her son’s feet. She was looking for fun, sophisticated styles that also promoted healthy foot development; but she didn’t find any, so she created See Kai Run. Today, a dedicated team of footwear makers and designers carry on this mission. Our experience and footwear knowledge ensures that every style we produce is fun, fashionable and features the finest in materials and craftsmanship.”

See Kai Run offers shoes that look like they’re made for kids, but keep moms happy too! A common thread I found running through some of my favorite little boy shoes was a great neutral color that will go with any outfit, plus an added pop of bright color to add a touch of youth. The styles are classic and fashionable, and I am simply in love!

I wanted something slightly dressier for M to wear when we go out to our synagogue together, so I chose the Milton boat shoe. Yep, there are times even during the summer when I’m washing socks!

The brown color matches his tan pants perfectly and adds some color to his outfit. He wears it with a vest that has navy vertical stripes, completing a playful but dressy nautical look.

It has everything I need for a practical toddler shoe: it’s easy to get on and off, has great traction, is flexible, room, and durable. M asks me all the time if he can wear these!

M loves playing outdoors, and I love when he wears sandals! Forget the socks issue – his feet breathe better in them, and he’s much cooler.

The Ryan II Fisherman sandal in gray and green is a unique twist on a neutral. The avocado green sees to almost work as a neutral and coordinates beautifully with so many outfits. The shades of gray is a color I wish I’d see more of in shoes, and the coordinating stitching seems to add a final touch.

It’s super toddler-friendly as well, with a cushioned mouth, easy on-and-off, an enclosed area above the sole (which makes for cleaner feet), soft leather and good traction – see M run!
