5 Must Watch Movies on Netflix from UK to Watch if You’re a MOM

Being a mom is exhausting. Taking your kid to school, cooking meals, teaching him, and finally, telling bedtime stories can often cause tiredness, irritability and may result in you requiring a break.

Honestly, it’s not wrong, but since your whole life revolves around your child, we don’t blame you for being this tensed about parenting. However, some movies help teach you how to further go on with your child, and how to treat them when they grow older.

This is why there are a few amazing movies to watch on Netflix UK. We recommend it to you if you’re a mom in the United Kingdom.

Netflix is the most popular streaming service all across the world. And everyone has a Netflix account at home. If you don’t, then you can just share one with your friends and get going with the best movies we’re going to list only for mothers.

5 Must Watch Movies on Netflix if You’re a Mom in the UK

If you’re a mother and want to have a great night with after putting your kid to sleep, then you can enjoy the following movies on Netflix easily:

1. Otherhood (2019):

The first movie we have is certainly for you to laugh all your mommy exhaustion out and have a fun night – it’s none other than a popular comedy called ‘Otherhood.’

This movie depicts the scenario of when your kid all grows up and leaves your home to settle. If this has been the case with you, then Otherhood will portray some of these relatably emotional feelings in a very funny way.

The movie revolves around three mothers, also best friends, who mutually decide to reconnect with their adult children on Mother’s Day. A soulful film for mothers, it depicts life right after motherhood and calls it Otherhood.

2. Fun Mom Dinner (2017):

If your kids are out for a sleepover with their friends, then what’s stopping you from having one as well? So call your mom friends up, order some pizza, get into your coziest pajamas because this fun movie right here is certainly not something you’d want to watch alone.

With their kids going to the same preschool, four women decide to meet for a casual dinner on a school night. At first, the idea seems like a disaster when the feast begins, but it ends up being one of the best fun mom dinners for them, with Adam Levine playing a cute bartender (definitely cute to see), karaoke, and alcohol. Soon, the mothers realize that they have much more in common than children.

3. Life as We Know It (2010):

Have a godson/goddaughter? Then this movie is definitely going to be super relatable for you moms. The film begins depicting a couple having a hard time together, enough that their dislike, at some point, turns into hate for each other.

Being on the verge of a breakup, the couple is handed over the duty of their goddaughter, whose parents passed away. So now, instead of almost wanting to take each other’s heads off, the couple has to become parents for their goddaughter and take care of her along with their competing careers. With an IMDB rating of 6.5/10, this movie is definitely a must-watch.

4. Dumplin’ (2018):

Children coming off age is the most annoying and funniest part of a mother’s life, especially if you have a daughter. And to watch the most amusing depiction of this coming-of-age scenario, we have dumplin’ for you.

The movie stars Jennifer Aniston, who runs a beauty pageant, and is the mother of a plus-size daughter, Will, who is and will never be interested in pageants like these. However, to prove a point to her mother, she signed up for the pageant and created a new revolution.

5. Mother’s Day (2016):

If you’re looking for something super different and fun, then this rom-com will amuse you in no time. The movie revolves around multiple stories that are weave together at the time of Mother’s Day.

The story depicts women, including a mother who’s divorced, a new mother who’s unmarried, daughters that have a judgemental mother, and more. With our favourite actresses like Kate Hudson, Jennifer Anniston, and Julia Roberts in the lead roles, this light-hearted comedy is definitely something you can watch to enjoy your night.

Wrapping Up!

You’re a mommy. Your life must be super tiring. And that’s okay. And to release all the tension, exhaustion, and responsibilities, we’ve jotted down some fantastic mommy movies out for you.

So, whether it’s a Friday night when your kids are out or a Wednesday when you’ve put them to bed, you can enjoy these movies any time you like.

Director Bong called it a black comedy, but the only targets that have been maximized
with comedy elements are women in

the lower, lower, and upper classes (they don’t necessarily
think it’s the same parasitic position as the upper class).

The poor, in particular, have expanded
enormously comically. I see a lot of clumsy devices just to emphasize poverty. But since he’s a black comedy, we can move on. But what about you, Chief?
The reason why some audiences feel sorry for what happened

to him is that he is almost the only
person set up as “general” on this comedy stage. This is offensive (a relatively low profile,
typical upper class look). Very detailed. The arrow goes to the poor,

ridiculous and over-represented, because he has faced such a catastrophe, which is commonly
seen among all kinds of hyperbole figures. And the poor come down to the ugly.

Dumplin’ is not a bad movie, I liked it. The plot is okay, not badly filmed. But that’s just for my taste 🙂
