Tavern Puzzles
Tavern Puzzles are reproductions of a type of puzzle traditionally forged by blacksmiths to amuse their friends at country taverns and inns. A museum-trained blacksmith from Long Island has reproduced some of these antique designs as well as his own original designs.
We recently had the opportunity to work with Tavern Puzzle and review one of the puzzles from their collection. We were sent a SmartyPants puzzle to review free of charge. My husband loves mind puzzles like Tavern Puzzles so I was excited to surprise him with it. He was at work with the puzzle arrived which was great. I left the puzzle on his computer desk so he would see it when he went to check his email. When he discovered it, he was like a little kid on 
Christmas. He right away got to working on the puzzle. He loved the challenge and took him about an hour to figure it out. I love that Tavern Puzzles do not include the solving pattern with the puzzle. I am sure he would have been tempted to use them. You can however get the solving instructions from their website if you would like them. I will be purchasing more Tavern Puzzles for my husband and to give as gifts for upcoming birthdays and Christmas!
Tavern Puzzles are beautifully handcrafted from steel. You can clearly see the quality and time that is put into making each puzzle. The puzzles are mechanical in nature. Removal of the object piece does not take force or trickery, instead it takes time and patience. All Tavern Puzzles are 100% Handcrafted in the USA. I love purchasing products that are made in USA.
