We’re in a city that frequently experiences power outages during storms and the kids are always terrified. Maybe I am a little, as well 🙂

Living in an area that gets frequent ice storms, tornados, etc that knock the power out, sometimes for weeks I don’t just want a generator I NEED one. After going for 10 days without power in below freezing weather I never want to do that again. The worst part about that was all the grandkids had the stomach flu during the power outage and I couldn’t even heat water to wash out their clothes. Thanks for the awesome giveaway!

We live among the trees in the middle of nowhere so we unfortunately lose power a lot, this would be great to have. Would have been wonderful to have yesterday when a farmer knocked down a nearby power pole with his tractor. 🙂

I would love to win the Ryobi 2200 inverter generator because we get bad storms and lose are electric a lot and my husband (dale) said that the Ryobi 2200 inverter generator is the best generator made out there. I would also like to win it and give it to him for one of his fathers day gifts. if I won this Ryobi 2200 I don’t think he would ever come out of our garage. just kidding he would just bring it in the house with him.

It’s always good to have a back-up for a major storm system. Our power went out during a massive snow storm for a week 2 yrs ago, and it got really cold. We used wood to heat the house as best we could, but it would have been really nice to have a generator to run the main heater.

Lisa Williams

I would like to win the generator because after we made it through the worst of things after the tornadoes in 2011, we loaned ours to our brother-in-law and he messed it up beyond repair. We live in a rural area and a generator is a must not only for the severe storms that occur, but also for occasional power outages that sometimes last most of a day.
