Life is all about choices, we can choose to eat healthy, or not. For most of my life, I’ve chosen the later. Picking up quick snacks to satisfy my hunger pains in my busy schedule has been the norm in my daily routine.
Over the years, those choices ultimately made me unhappy. I distinctly remember moving from a size 6 to 7 and 8 and finally resting on a size 9 before I took a good long hard look at myself and my previous choices. I remember going to the the doctors office, stepping on the scale and seeing that I had went from 120 lbs to 140 lbs without even noticing!
It was at this time, I decided I needed to make wiser choices. I needed to embrace healthier eating habits and learn to like it. With my busy schedule, I wasn’t sure how I would find the time to incorporate this “new” lifestyle into my daily activities.
I remember feeling defeated! Seriously defeated! The thought of trying to manage a social network, my home, family, care for my elderly mother, and diet was overwhelming. Honestly, I don’t think I could have done it without Nutrisystem!
Now, that probably sounds fabricated, but honestly it’s not. Nutrisystem has set up their program so well, that it fits perfectly into my lifestyle without making life altering changes.
The meals are quick and easy to prepare. I don’t have to measure anything in order to assure I’m eating the right portions.
