I love to bake. I love the kitchen. As a matter of fact my life story is almost like that of Like Water for Chocolate, seriously! My mom went into labor on Veteran’s Day while she was cooking.
I usually start to bake around October to get ready for the upcoming Holidays. This year has been so busy, however, that I haven’t had a chance to even make some pudding!
That being said, when I heard that Jen & Joes has ready to bake cookie dough that tastes just like home made, I had to give them a try. Wouldn’t you?!
I had a small Friendsgiving a few days ago and I thought to use Jen & Joes Lemon Drop cookies. I literally put them in the oven and twelve minutes later we had delicious “home made” cookies!
They were a hit with my friends. What I love is that they are made with real sugar and butter, no additives. The dough is made the portioned and flash frozen to help seal in the flavor.
As they were baking the house smelled so good. It was a mixture of caramelized sugar and roasted lemon. Delish!

- White Chocolate Wasabi (for the adventurous folks)
- Lemon Drop
- Chocolate Spice
- Snickerdoodle (I didn’t get to taste this, the boys devoured them!)

So definitely save time this Holiday season while you’re entertaining. You can actually pick them up at a store near you or straight from the site.
You’ll not only be saving tons of prep time, but you’ll actually get to enjoy your company. In the time it takes to pour a cup of coffee for dessert or pour a glass of wine, your cookies will be done!
