What They Care About
It is quite a long list which shows me as a consumer what they are all about. First of all, they are Eco-friendly. Originally, run by a former lawyer for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, there is no question that making eco-friendly yoga products is their number one priority. We are lucky that they are made right, natural rubber is both the most eco-friendly and best-performing yoga mat you can get.
They plant a tree for every mat that they sell. Jade Yoga are committed to giving back to the earth with every product sold. They want to leave the earth a better place than when they found it. As Jade mats come from trees, they decided it was best to give back by planting a tree for every mat sold. Starting in 2006, through their partnership with Trees for the Future, they have done just that, planting over One Million trees so far. Which tells you just how popular their mats are if for each mat they have sold they have planted a tree. One Million Mats Sold=1 Million Trees planted.

First they have Yoga Blocks:
Jade Cork Yoga Blocks are made with cork harvested sustainably in Portugal from the bark of native cork trees, a rapidly renewable resource. Cork provides comfort, strength, stability and firm support for your yoga practice. Cork is naturally antimicrobial and water-resistant. Available in Small (3″ x 4.75″ x 9″) and Large (4″ x 6″ x 9″). The small is less than $14 and the large is less than $16. I wasn’t sure how sturdy these would be since they were made of cork, but I am very impressed with their durability. I also want to mention they offer a Balsa Block with retails for $19.95.
Jade Yoga Mats:
The selection of their Yoga Mats is so impressive. They have 6 different mat styles in a variety of vibrant colors. They offer different sizes as well as thicknesses.
At 1/8″ thick, this is our thinnest and lightest yoga mat. The Jade Travel mat is great for yogis on the go and for those who like closer contact with the ground. The Jade Travel Mat folds up to fit easily into your luggage and is 24″ wide and available in two lengths, 68″ and 74″ (black is only available in 68″), and a variety of colors and weighs just over 3 pounds.
Jade Yoga mats is everything you want in a yoga mat – cool colors, incredible grip, great comfort and eco-friendly. Jade mats are made sustainably with natural rubber tapped from rubber trees, a renewable resource and unlike other mats contains no PVC, EVA or other synthetic rubber and are made in the United States in compliance with all US environmental, labor and consumer protection laws. And, Jade plants a tree for every mat sold – with over 850,000 trees planted so far. I just am so impressed that they do this!
