It’s one of the most popular handyman items in the world, and from repairing your luggage to baby-proofing your hotel room, you can get a lot of use out of duct tape.

3. Iodine Tablets

While the water in Mexico City is generally safe, if you do any traveling to outside attractions, you’ll want iodine tablets to purify it.

4. Swimsuit

Whether you’re hitting the beach or just relaxing in the sauna of a luxury hotel like the Live Aqua, you’ll definitely need your bathing suit!

5. Travel Mug

Not only will it keep you hydrated, but when your trip is finished, you can also rinse it out and use it to store your jewelry or more delicate souvenirs.
