1. Breast Cancer

This occurs when abnormal cells in the breast begin to grow out of control. These abnormal cells can spread to other parts of the body and cause serious illness.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women and the second leading cause of cancer death in women. Early detection and treatment of breast cancer can improve the chances of survival.

There are also two main types of breast cancer, those are Invasive Ductal Carcinoma and Invasive Lobular Carcinoma. Each of them has its own definition.

Invasive Ductal Carcinoma

This starts in the milk ducts but can grow through the duct wall and into the surrounding breast tissue. IDC is typically aggressive cancer and can spread to other parts of the body if left untreated.

There are many treatment options available for IDC, and the best course of treatment will depend on the individual case. Early detection is key to a successful outcome.

This is why women with breast abnormalities need to perform monthly breast self-exams and get regular mammograms.

Invasive Lobular Carcinoma

ILC is typically diagnosed at a later stage than IDC, as it is more difficult to detect on mammograms. ILC often presents as a lump in the breast that feels hard and irregular.

Treatment for ILC is typically the same as for IDC, including surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy.

2. Mastitis

One of the common breast problems seen in women who are breastfeeding can also occur in women who are not breastfeeding. Mastitis can be caused by a number of things, including a blocked milk duct, an infection, or a deficiency in the immune system.

Symptoms of mastitis include a fever, a red and swollen breast, and pain in the breast. Treatment for mastitis typically includes antibiotics, and sometimes a hospital stay. In severe cases, surgery may be necessary.

3. Fibrocystic Breasts

This condition is characterized by the presence of small, benign lumps in the breasts. These lumps are usually painless, but can sometimes be tender or sore.

Fibrocystic breasts are not cancerous and do not increase your risk of developing breast cancer. While the exact cause is unknown, it is thought to be related to hormones.

There are also many effective fibrocystic breasts remedies such as over-the-counter pain medication, vitamins, and supplements that can help improve the symptoms.

Thank you a lot for the great and helpful thread here. What do you think about some good supplements or maybe vitamins for women’s health? Which do you recommend trying? I like the service from eDrugStore.com a lot, and I often get some stuff from there. Maybe you will find it helpful and interesting to you, good luck!
