The Wisdom of the Desert with Desert Dermatologics 
As an ummmm, shall we say, more mature woman, I think a lot about my skin. How it looks…how it feels. My face tends to be on the dry side and my skin is quite sensitive, so, I’m always on the lookout for great products that nourish my skin, help it too look better and to feel better too. So, I was delighted to have the chance to try out some of the offerings from Desert Dermatologics. Although I’ve only been using is for a few days, I can report that is has caused no burning, itching or rash, which is quite common for me when trying new skin care products.
Both the Daytime Defense and Timeless Day and Night formulas have almost no scent and glide smoothly onto my skin. Neither leave any oily residue!
The Intensive Cuticle Repair is AWESOME!
It’s like a silky salve that leaves cuticles soft and conditioned. I love that it has such “natural” ingredients like Beeswax, Vitamin B and Pomegranate Seed Oil.
A little about the man behind Desert Dermatologics:
I grew up in the desert southwest. I studied botany with Dr. Bertram Brehm at Reed College in Oregon focusing on plant evolution, plant diversity and plant chemistry. We published our botanical research in Science magazine. This was not a common pathway to becoming a doctor, but I returned to the southwest and attended medical school in spite of my beginnings in botany. Over the years, I often reflected on those botanical roots.
