This is just exactly what I am looking for. I make a couple of very slow cooked meats (yesterday I cooked a pork roast for 10 hours) and the little thermometers that you stick in and wait to come up to temperature just do not cut it. Plus, smart phone connected, oh yeah.
I have never used a meat thermometer. I really need one. Especially with the holidays coming up.

This thermometer looks cool and based on your review works quite well. I used to have a handheld one you jabbed in the meat but it never really worked consistently. I can see this technology would be great especially when I cook chicken. Thanks.
