Book Shaped Cake Pan
I love making cakes from scratch. For the last several years whenever I have had the opportunity, I have made the cakes for birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions. This year, my nephew graduated from high school. I wanted to make a very special cake that would not only impress him but one that he would remember forever.
I recently had the opportunity to work with Gone Reading and review one of their amazing products. I had the opportunity to review their Book Shaped Cake Pan in my home free of charge. I have used shaped cake pans for several years. At first they seem overwhelming but they are really easy to use.
The Book Shaped Cake Pan measures approximately 16 inches wide x 12 inches tall x 2-1/2 inches deep. You can use your favorite scratch cake recipe or three boxes of your favorite boxed cake mix. If you are using your favorite cake reciped from scratch you would have to make three batches (this is easier than tripling the recipe and saves time and ingredients in case of measuring error. The cake pan comes with decorating instructions or you can be creative and decorate however your heart desires.
