Courses and Programs
The full catalog of courses and programs available at Queen’s is just about as dynamic and comprehensive as that of any Canadian university…if not more so. Programs are divided across the Faculty of Arts and Science, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Law, Smith School of Business, School of Graduate Studies and School of Policy Studies – each of which has earned national and international acclaim.
Speaking of which, Queen’s University has one of the most remarkable international programs in the country right now, giving students the option to study at 245 different institutions spanning 45 countries. Though once again, the Bader International Study Centre located in the United Kingdom remains the prime pick for most students with their sights set on overseas travel!

“We have more than 300 student-run clubs and associations, which I think exemplifies the initiative and leadership of our student body,” beams principal Daniel Woolf. And he’s definitely got a point, though at last count the student body actually reported closer to 400 clubs up and running! Located just 10 minutes on foot from downtown yet positioned at the most beautiful and tranquil surroundings, Queen’s University caters to all tastes and preferences. In fact, just a couple of years ago the BBC rated Kingston as one of the top-five university towns in the whole world!
Boasting a graduation rate of 86%, Queen’s University consistently exceeds national averages in all key departments. Particularly overall student satisfaction, where Queen’s University has spent the past several years in a row right at the top of the table.
