Third-Row Seating: Which Chevys Offer Extra Space?

0

If you have a small family, or you live alone, then you may feel fine with a relatively small, compact vehicle. Something like a sedan fits four or five, and that might work okay for many drivers. However, what if you have a bigger family or you often have to drive some friends or coworkers around?

You might want to give some Chevy vehicles a  close look if that is the situation in which you find yourself.  Chevy build and price are always going to vary, but if you want to get a vehicle that has extra room for more individuals, then you are probably going to want to target one of those that has a third row of seats. Let us look at some of the Chevy models that currently offer a third row.

The Chevy Express Passenger Van

You may not see as many of these vehicles on the road as some of the others on this list that we will cover. If you see one, then the chances are high that it is being used for commercial purposes

The Express Passenger Van is built to be comfortable for several individuals. The third row of seats is a key feature, and if you buy one, it would work well for any type of business entity where you’re mainly concerned with conveying customers to and from various locales. For instance, having a fleet of Express Passenger Vans that your hotel owns and that you use to take customers to and from the airport makes sense.

The Chevy Suburban

The Suburban does well for Chevy, as it sells briskly in a crowded market. It is by far the largest SUV in the Chevy lineup, a gargantuan vehicle with more cargo space than the Tahoe. You can fit up to nine people inside, even if they are all taller or heavier adults.

The Chevy Tahoe

The Tahoe usually comes in at a slightly lower price point than the Suburban. It’s still plenty big, though, and you will want to measure the dimensions of your garage before you buy one to make sure it fits.

The Tahoe, like all the others on this list, comes with the third row that makes it so attractive to individuals with larger families. You might also decide to go with one if you have a spouse or partner and you feel it’s likely that you will add to your family in the years to come.

The Chevy Traverse

Though not exactly small, the Chevy Traverse is the one on this list that’s relatively diminutive when you place it next to something like the Suburban. It does come with a third row of seats and can fit as many as eight people.

What you should keep in mind with the Traverse is that you’re getting what’s generally considered to be a good balance between passenger and cargo space. Even if you’re carrying eight people, you should still be able to fit plenty of groceries, sporting equipment, etc.
