When Marta, (Radha Mitchell) a stay-at-home mom begs her husband, to leave his life in organized crime, she is forced to live with the consequences of crossing the mob when her husband is brutally gunned down in their driveway.
After the death of her husband, Marta discovers that her husband was going to turn the family of mob members into the police so that he and his family could enter the witness protection program.
Later when Marta discovers her husband was actually killed over a drug deal gone bad, rather than the fact he was going to rat on the mob family she is forced to repay his debt to the head of another crime family run by Nicholae Schiller.
