Light-years ahead of its time? Motorola and Verizon collide and emerged with a beacon that stretches across the skies with the Droid Razr Maxx! Maybe the smart phone hasn’t gotten any smarter, but it has so much more to offer.

These two features together make for one fast phone. The 4G LTE network is much faster than Verizon’s 3G network, so with the dual core, we are talking lightning speeds.
The phone is very durable, but I decided to get a case protective case for it at my local Verizon store. It does make the phone a little bigger, but when I drop it, I don’t have to worry about it. And I do mean when. You know it’s just a matter of time before it happens.
There are five completely customizable home screens that you can put whatever apps you want, where you want it. This way I know where everything is and know that it’s only a swipe away.

Capture special moments with great photos and videos, explore your shots and quickly share your favorites in any way that you want.While we are on the subject, the camera takes fantastic pictures but it also takes videos as well.

Stay Entertained, Engaged and Productive With The Droid Razr Maxx
This device comes with many great apps that you can immediately enjoy and find useful. But thousands more await. In the Verizon Wireless Media Store, you can express your style by downloading Ringtones, Ringback Tones and Wallpapers. There are also top games and apps for listening to music, watching videos, updating your social status and staying productive. And on Google Play Store, you’ll find even more entertainment options for your Android device, including apps, music, books, magazines, movies and TV shows.
Widgets
Put the important stuff right within reach and interact with your favorite apps directly from your home screen with widgets — see the latest sport scores, view your favorite photos, check the weather or peek at your inbox all without having to open different apps or leave the home screen.
BlueTooth
The Droid Razr Maxx also has Bluetooth so that you can pair your phone with other Bluetooth devices to keep your hands free and still access you phone. The Bluetooth is a feature I love because I can pair it with my voice activated navigator in my car!

This phone will search for Wi-Fi’s that you can access and will help you save on your data plans. That’s a nice feature for those who have a limited plan and want to avoid overcharges. The Droid Razr Maxx can also be password protected and you can even download a free app that will locate your phone if it becomes lost or stolen.
No need for an IPod. The Droid Razr Maxx will have all of your favorite music just a touch away.
The Bottom Line
When compared to other smart phones I’ve used, the Droid Razr Maxx far exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for the perfect Christmas present this year, I highly recommend this baby!
