Where to Learn about the World’s Best Travel Spots

0

Traveling is one of the best ways to take in as much of the world as possible.  Unfortunately, 64% of Americans have never left the country, making it hard to find someone to talk to about planning this type of trip.

If you want to find the best travel spots on Earth: here’s how to do it!

YouTube Accounts

Youtube has been making a name for itself as a travel resource in recent years, and it’s clear to see why!  Through these videos, you can see firsthand what it’s like to visit, how easy it is to navigate traveling here for someone who mainly speaks the same language as you, and how friendly the locals are.

Of course, these are still edited and should be taken with a grain of salt if you don’t know much about the Youtuber, but they can be incredibly inspiring for travelers who want to make the most out of it!  If you find yourself interested in an area, be sure that you branch out beyond just one creator to get to know as many views on the area as possible.

More than one opinion on an area helps guarantee you won’t be negatively surprised when you arrive.

Fantastic Travel Blogs

Some of the best travel blogs out there store secrets about the most incredible travel destinations you’ll never hear about.  From swimming in bioluminescent bays to traveling to haunted forests or gorgeous mountain resorts: travel blogs offer a chance at finding paradise wherever you want to.

Look into ones that match your taste in vacation, whether that’s an active vacation or a lounging one, and think about whether the trips they describe are appealing to you!

Interesting Documentaries

Documentaries may surprise you, but they’re an awesome travel resource to help you learn about areas.  Look into series dedicated to specific areas you’re interested in or travel styles you like.  This could mean seeking out a series on skiing if you want to find the best ski resorts or surfing if that’s what excites you.  These will often teach about both the areas and what you can do while visiting them!

Word of Mouth

Although it can be difficult to find someone with the same tastes as you who has also traveled: you must plan carefully and talk to other travelers as early as possible.  This means asking around and figuring out which people in your life have been to destinations that interest you.

Ask specifics, like how much they had to budget, what time of year they wanted, and what their favorite part of their trip was!  Although this can feel like an interrogation, word of mouth is one of the best ways to get an honest review for an area.

Your Future Vacation Should be Carefully Picked!

Regardless of where you end up: your future vacation should be a place that you fall in love with far before you visit!  Get to know your options, consider what you can create a realistic budget for, and then plan the vacation of your dreams!
