Moms know that learning is much more fun and effective in an organized, inspiring space. As National Teacher Appreciation Week approaches (May 4-8, 2015), Sabrina Soto has teamed up with Velcro Group Corporation for the first-ever Classroom Makeover contest to celebrate teachers and educators who make learning fun.
As Brand Ambassador and a design and lifestyle expert, Sabrina is encouraging individuals to nominate a deserving teacher who should receive a classroom makeover. Together, they will select a winning classroom entry then re-design and organize that classroom by integrating VELCRO® Brand products and other lively design elements.
The VELCRO® Brand and Sabrina have one goal: to celebrate educators and bring greater awareness to all that they do. Having an organized classroom allows them to focus on teaching in a productive space that is ideal for learning.
Nominations for PreK – grade 12 educational rooms are open to educators, students, parents or friends and must be received by April 30, 2015. The winner will be selected and announced on May 5, 2015 – official National Teacher Appreciation Day.

All classrooms, resource rooms or formal learning areas are eligible for submissions. Entrants must submit two (2) photos of the room with a brief reason the educator and the classroom deserve to win through the WooBox Contest Application (highlighted on the VELCRO® Brand Facebook, Twitter and Instagram).
