The Holiday Lights Display, at Kennywood, is amazing. I’ve never seen so many beautiful lights. We went last year, but this year takes the cake.
My Mother in Law loved it. This was her first year to go, and every single second, she kept going, “take a picture of this, take a picture of that”. There’s just so much to see.
The Mariachi band was amazing, as well. We stood and listened to them for a good while.
Jacob, my 4 year old, had a blast in Kiddyland. He didn’t want to get off the rides. We bought him his necklace, so we could see him clearly. He still wears it, today. So it was well worth what we paid, only $7.oo.
The tree is beautiful. It has to be the highlight of the entire visit.
And, the Hot Cocoa, it’s superb. You buy a travel mug for $7.99, and you get free refills all night. Can you believe that? As much Hot Cocoa as I can drink. That’s a lot, trust me.
Your young ones can also visit Santa, who is stationed in the Racers. The line wasn’t long, when we went either. So, we stood in line to see Santa, drinking our Hot Cocoa. It was so much fun.
You can even ride the Merry Go Round. My In Laws rode it with Jacob. They had so much fun, on the Merry Go Round. They rode it a couple of times.
There were some great rides open, and so many beautiful lights, we will definitely be doing this again. And, you should too.
