How do you protect you skin from the sun?
We do everything we can to protect our children. From protecting them from the craziness of the to world to protecting them from themselves. Protecting their skin shouldn’t be any different. As you know, the summer sun can be pretty dangerous for all skin types. My daughter has such fair skin. My son on the other hand has a dark olive skin type. Although they have different skin types, I still treat their skin with the same attention.
Of course my first line of defense is always SPF 50 all over. I follow it to the T because my daughter burns very easily. I always carry a little trail size sunscreen with me as a precaution.
My next line of defense are Swim Tee’s. Although my daughter doesn’t like them because she says she feels so confined, I make her wear it anyway. I have found some amazing shirts at Landsend.com. First things first is they are very reasonably priced. I have spent in the past an upward of $20-$30 a shirt and the material was not that great. Right now you can snag them up for as low as $8.99!!

When my kids tried them on I was so happy. They were a bit big on them but they were comfortable. I would rather them a little big then them feeling confined in it. The material is great. They are nice and stretchy and soft.
