Over-Shoe Ice and Snow Cleats

We all know what a cold, snowy, horrible winter it has been. This is one of the worst that we have ever had. With record snowfalls and temperature lows across the world, Winter 2013/2014 is definitely one for the books. I can not tell you how many times this Winter that I regretted owning a farm. If I wasn’t battling the snow and wind, I was trying to walk across the ice. I admit, I fell several times. Not only dropping the animals feed and water but unfortunately twisting my ankle and hurting my back.

iceI was extremely excited and thankful when I was asked to review Over-Shoe Ice and Snow Cleats. We were sent two pairs of the cleats to try and review free of charge. The Over-Shoe Ice and Snow Cleats are perfect for so many reasons. They easily slip over my snow boots without struggling to get them on.

Epica cleats are extremely durable. They are made of a tough, synthetic rubber that stays flexible in the coldest temperatures. Even when the thermometer was reading -13 degrees I was still able to use them with ease. The rust-proof steel spikes under the heel and ball of the foot allowed the cleatscleats to grip onto slick, icy ground or pavement. I was able to walk on the ice and snow with the confidence of knowing that I wasn’t going to end up on my bum. Putting the cleats on over my boots was easy by slipping the straps over the toe and around the back of the heel. The cleats fit snug as a bug right over my boots and stayed in place without shifting. I have been using the cleats at least three times a day since I got them and they still fit as though it was my first time putting them on.
