Lately, I have been craving a good steak to eat. Today was a great day to get the grill out and barbecue. It also gave me the time to try out Wish-Bone EVOO salad dressings. I hasted some of the Garlic Basil dressing over my steak while it cooked on the gas grill. It turned out perfect. Giving the steak a sticky layer of Garlic & Basil flavoring.
With the Salad I decided to go light with some tomato, corn, onion, and sharp cheddar cheese. The dressing was Wish-Bone EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil) Caesar Vinaigrette dressing. It made the salad come together, all the fresh vegetables went well with the smooth Caesar Vinaigrette. Next time I may go with whole cherry tomatoes, and some chopped boiled egg.
Ingredients Used:
Your choice cut steak: I went with sirloin steak, slicing it in thin strips to fit over my salad.
Corn: I went with frozen corn to save time. Boiled them in water with a pinch of salt, and butter.
Your choice salad: I went with some of my favorite being tomatoes sliced, sliced onion, and cheese. The salad itself contains lettuce and some thinly sliced carrots.
The desired dressing: My choice of dressing was Wish-Bone EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil) Caesar Vinaigrette dressing. Very smooth, and rich in flavor. I gave my salad a lite drizzle because I added steak. The lite drizzle was enough to give my salad the pop it needs. Very delicious!
