This week I was happy to receive my Empire work boots from Shoes For Crews. I chose a pair black Empire Composite-Toe boots for my job at Fender Factory. The boot itself is made of high quality premium distressed oiled leather, which also have a great fresh leather smell. They are tall enough to cover my ankles giving me protection from carts we push around the factory (these carts have extended legs so tend to smack or cut my ankles up).
- CSA approved
- Padded collar
- Water Proof
- Non metal safety toe
- A steel shank is imbedded to help posture

- EH Rated
- Metal fasteners to keep your laces firmly tied
I’ve been using the boots for about a week now so I’m adding to this post.
Looking at the boots now I can see marks where the carts I push around at work have smack up against them. Happily my ankles are fine, that was a large concern for me at the time I had started using them. The Composite-Toe has only been in affect once since I had gotten the boots and a guitar fell on my foot. With that said I can say that the strength of the Toe was more than perfect from something of that weight. I have looked for other boots but never seemed to find one in the right price range that I liked in quality. I can say that this is a great quality of boot and I can see myself buying another pair of professional boots from ShoesForCrews For everyone working in a factory setting you are going to love these Empire boots, I have co-workers everyday asking me where I picked them up from and now they have started buying from ShoesForCrews as well.
This is one of those items that is just worth the money for the people that need the product. The Empire Composite-Toe boot is one of the best pair of boots I have had in a while now keeping my feet from pain and discomfort.
