American spending at big brands like Macy’s, Walmart, Best Buy, Dunkin Donuts, and Starbucks are all tracked as are general products including books, video games, the lottery, baby food, bars and nightclubs.
In just 25 minutes, you can see that Americans have spent over $5 million at Walmart, $1 million on gas and downloaded more than 2 million apps. We don’t just spend money on ourselves though. You’ll notice that Americans are also donating money as fast as they spend money at Walmart.
It’s true we shop, play and eat a lot. But we don’t just think of ourselves, we also take care of others.
