You can begin from scratch or purchase a Starter Canvas created by Gina.  Then build on your canvas, telling your story.  You make an art piece about one of your children, a parent, or perhaps a special pet.

Alive on Canvas Collage

I’m receiving a starter canvas and I think that mine will either commemorate our trips to Hawaii, (my husbands favorite place in the world), or be a collage of sorts, featuring my beloved dogs. I’m starting with the Warm Earth Canvas, which comes hand stretch on wooden bars.  I chose this particular piece, because it is done in many of the colors that are already in our bedroom.  I love the mixture of green, orange, yellow, with just a bit of purple.

If you wish to start with a canvas that Gina has created, there are 12 to choose from.  Each has been printed with fade resistant ink, then hand stretched onto hand glued “stretcher bars”.  Canvases are available in size 16×20, 18×24 and 24×36.

If you want a piece of artwork, but don’t feel up to the task, or don’t have the time to create one yourself, Gina can be commissioned to create a piece for you. Pick an Alive on canvas print, or have her paint an original piece. She will collaborate with you, so that your completed artwork tells your story! You can also purchase Keepsake Art – available in Fine Art Posters or Printed Canvases.

Following the instructions on the website, in the book and with the many colorful photos of other completed works, I have no doubt about my ability to capture wonderful memories in my own creation.  This will truly be a work of art that we will treasure forever.
